NO Sound or Low Volume? Heres a solution
- This app uses the system sound engine, which on rare occasions behaves strangely
- Go into your devices sound settings page and set the volume slider to minimum then back to maximum and turn all the sound setting switches off and back on.
- That will refresh the sound engine
- You should get sound back on.

Pros and cons of iPlay Guitar app for iPhone and iPad

iPlay Guitar app good for

This app really has a very high quality of sound and its pretty easy to play too. one word: Awesome!!
Probably the best app Ive downloaded so far! If u love music then this is the app for u. Its worth every penny!!!
This game was actually given to me by the developer. The app has been fun to play and learn some songs as well! The practice mode is a nice touch (no pun intended). The sound quality is just superb although I prefer to use this app with headphones on. I look forward to the future updates! Keep up the great work!
** On a few rare occasions, the sound was gone. I followed the developers advice (maximize volume slider on my iPhones sound settings page) and got sound again. Pros: 1. Designed for playing music live...Search you-tube for performances (e.g. Pachelbels Canon), 2. Upload/download arrangements and learn to play them in practice mode, 3. Great sound samples, 4. Customizable keyboard - 26 scale types and each key is customizable, 5. You can layout the background with images from your photo library. Cons: 1. Controls take some getting used to, 2. Not the most aesthetically pleasing app to the eye (but not important since it does produce beautiful music)
I could finally afford and iPod touch so here I am getting all hyped up for this app because of tkviper. But anyways, its an awesome app, still learning how to use it here and there to make my own songs. And it has a few of my favorite Chinese songs (which is another reason why i wanted this app) I just wish most of then didnt come in different parts. I prefer learning the whole song at once. I play keyboard, guitar, and violin, but this app is fun for on the go and when youre just too lazy to take out those instruments. And force closes on me once in awhile, but I cant complain, Im satisfied (:
As a beginner, you can use this app to learn more about scales and what sounds good with what. I like the customization, the way you can change the tone, notes, and scales. A must have, if you want to enter the world of music.

Some bad moments

I downloaded this on my iPod touch 4th generation and there I no audio. When I try to use the app with or without headphones, there is no sound either way. Dont download!
